Personal Care
Being registered with the Care Quality Commission enables us to provide support with personal care tasks such as assisting with washing, dressing, bathing, and/or showering.
Our Support workers who provide personal care are trained to a minimum standard of Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or will have completed their training to be awarded the care certificate. All staff undertake regular on-line training through the Care Skills Academy
Practical Support
In addition to personal care, Ripon & District Homecare also provide Practical Support covering a range of tasks including:
Meal Preparation
Assistance with the administration of medication as presented by G.P.
Shopping (accompanied if preferred)
General Housework incl. laundry
Social Visits / Outings
Transport to G.P. or Hospital Appointments
Dog Walking
We also recognise the need for carer respite and may be able to arrange for a 'sit-in' service to enable a family member caring for a loved one to take a break.

Assessing Your Needs
After initial contact with Ripon & District Homecare, a mutually convenient time will be arranged for you to meet one of our management team.
We will come along to meet you in the privacy of your own home to discuss your needs and requirements.
There is no charge for this visit and does not place the enquirer under any obligation.
Everyone is Unique
We understand that everyone is different and requires their own unique care. We will work with you to set up a bespoke person-centered service plan that reflects your routines and personal choices so that it works for you and the care you need.
